In trading on Friday, the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF (KRE) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 0.9% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of The Bancorp Bank (TBBK), up about 3.2% and shares of Wilshire Bancorp (WIBC), up about 2.2% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ), off about 2.2% in Friday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Friday were shares of Perseus Mining (PRU.CA), lower by about 6.8%, and shares of Sabina Gold & Silver (SBB.CA), lower by about 6.7% on the day.
